If you want premium food, start with premium ingredients.

Many years before we ventured into producing outdoor meals, we sourced, freeze-dried, and delivered the highest quality ingredients to the food industry, and we continue to do so. This gives us a unique expertise. Whether it's local strawberries or organic goat cheese from Italy, we've got it.

Natural ingredients

The ingredients we use are always natural, whether they come straight from our fields, from other local farmers or from trusted suppliers across Europe.

We don't compromise. All ingredients are minimally processed and have clean labels, making LYOFOOD meals taste like real home-cooked food.

Our fields

From seeds to the final product. This is how we make our food.

We accept nothing less than full traceability. We grow our own crops and work closely with farmers to ensure fresh produce goes straight to our facilities. This is not just a marketing pitch – our fruits and vegetables are grown in real soil, tended by real farmers. They are then transported directly to our plants to be prepared and freeze-dried.

Farmers we know

Supporting local agriculture is our priority.

We favor local sources over cheaper alternatives. We only import what we can't source locally, often buying directly from producers and farmers. We support organic farming by increasing demand for certified organic ingredients and demonstrating good practices in test fields. When promoting certified meals, we focus on building awareness and increasing interest in such products, which has a positive impact on farmers.

Suppliers we trust

We source all ingredients from trusted suppliers who share our approach to food production.

Many of them are farmers themselves or work closely with employed farmers. We strive for long-term partnerships and transparency, although at our scale of production this is often difficult. When we cannot obtain complete information about the origin of an ingredient or animal welfare practices, we remain consistent with our values.

Traceability

Traceability in the food industry refers to the ability to track the movement of food products through all stages of production, processing, and distribution.

For us, traceability means knowing the story of every ingredient that goes into our meals – from the farm to your fork, spoon or spork... Our certified Food Safety Management System FSSC 22000 enables us to tell you the origin of every ingredient we use, which is a guarantee of the safety of LYOFOOD products. We focus on transparency and excellence, but it's not just about following standards, it's about creating them. So that our food reflects our approach to health, production, ecology, people and business.
