The administrator, that is the entity deciding how your personal data will be used, is LYOFOOD Sp. z o.o. based in Poland, Kielce, ul. Zagnańska 97A (the "LYOFOOD") an operator of an e-commerce platform available at www.lyofood.pl; www.lyofood.com; www.lyofood.es; www.lyofood.de; www.lyofood.fr; www.lyofood.co.uk ; www.lyofood.dk; www.lyofood.ch (the "Site").


This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from Site.


PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

Legal basis for processing personal data:
• Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – processing necessary for the performance of a contract or to take steps prior to entering into a contract (e.g., order fulfillment);
• Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with legal obligations incumbent on the data controller (e.g., accounting and tax obligations);
• Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest of the data controller, including ensuring website security, analyzing traffic, and marketing own products;
• Article 6(1)(a) GDPR – user consent, in particular for direct marketing or newsletters.


SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. • providers of marketing, analytics, and mailing tools,
• entities providing accounting, legal, programming, or advisory services.

These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

BEHAVIOURAL ADVERTISING

Personal data may be used for profiling for marketing purposes, in particular to tailor advertisements or offers to the interests of the user. Profiling does not produce legal effects nor similarly significantly affect the user’s situation. TRANSFER OF DATA OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA


Some of the entities processing data may be located outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States and Canada. In such cases, data are transferred with appropriate safeguards required by the GDPR, in particular standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or other mechanisms legalizing data transfer.


DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through the Site, we store your Order Information for the period necessary to fulfill the order and to comply with the legal obligations of the data controller. Data may be retained for the period required by law, in particular tax and accounting regulations, and in the case of data processed based on consent – until consent is withdrawn.


CHANGES

This Privacy Policy enters into force on 2024.11.01
Due to the needs that may arise from the development of our services or regulatory changes, we are entitled to change the Policy.

The new version of the Policy will be published on our website. In addition, we will inform you about any changes that may affect the use of services.
