How would you describe your relationship with nature?

Nature is my driving force. I love being outdoors and seeing nature and my environment from all kinds of angles.

If Mother Nature could talk, what do you think she would tell us humans?

I think she would tell us to slow down and relax.

Which expedition experience has shaped you most as a person?

Pakistan in 2021. Paragliding in these mountains with world-class pilots opened my eyes to further ideas and my current motivation.

What basic qualities should your expedition partner have?

They need to be direct, open to having good and sincere conversations, and simply enjoy the time spent working together on a shared project. The ability to activate ZEN mode when the weather is bad is also greatly appreciated (this also applies to me to a large extent ;-)).

Which LYO product can’t you imagine going on an expedition without?

PERFORMANCE Formula, as I think it’s a great way to enhance meltwater and I drink it also on a daily basis during training, so my body knows how to use it. I really like it!

If you were not a mountain athlete, who would you be?

A paraglider and I would be flying a larger size Enzo wing!

Why alpinism then?

I like to move efficiently in the mountains. They frighten me but I also get so much back out of very long and hard days!
