Moonwalking in Patagonia
At the time of the outbreak of the pandemic Sean Villanueva O'Driscoll was in Patagonia. Many countries went into full or partial lockdown, so Sean decided to stay put and wait it out. What happened next changed not only his personal and professional life but will also go down in the history of climbing as one of the most impressive solo ascents ever made.
After nearly a year-long stay in Patagonia and one day before turning 40, Sean completed the Fitz Roy Traverse, solo, in reverse, carrying only a rope, his flute, and of course a few pouches of LYO Nettle Curry.
