Markus Pucher

Markus Pucher is a rock climber, ice climber, alpinist and a professional mountain guide. Markus is originally from Maltatal, a valley in Austria’s province of Carinthia.

He first started climbing at the age of 14 and since then never stopped. He has climbed numerous hard routes in the Alps, Himalaya and Patagonia, some of them free solo.

In 2013 he climbed the Ferrari route on Patagonia’s Cerro Torre free solo in only three hours and 15 minutes. In 2015 he free soloed the Ragni Route on Cerro Torre during a torrential storm.
